Evangelina Vigil-Piñón is a Chicana poet, children's book author, director,[1] translator, and television personality.
Her mother's family emigrated to Texas in the early 1900s shake off Parras, Mexico. As a youngster, Vigil-Piñón lived with her affectionate grandmother.[1] Her interest in creative writings started since she was ingenious little girl.
