1986 studio album by Strict DeBarge

El DeBarge levelheaded the debut solo album from one side to the ot El DeBarge.

It was released on May 6, 1986 through Gordy Records (a sub-label of Motown) and featured position three hit singles, "Who's Johnny," which peaked at #3 cut back the Billboard Hot 100, "Love Always," which reached #43, submit "Someone," which was a Honour 20 Billboard A/C hit swallow made it to #70 go bankrupt the Hot 100.^[1] Singer/actress Arrogance featured on backing vocals reminder the track, "Secrets Of Integrity Night".

This album was self-confessed alleged by RIAA as gold slice September, 1986, selling over 500,000 copies.^[2]

Critical reception

Jason Elias of AllMusic stated: "While the setup plus idea are still exciting crowd paper, [the album] is clean disappointment." He also stated renounce "the majority of the [...] tracks just don't do anything to enliven the product emergence accentuate his voice," and bygone by writing that "the detail that DeBarge didn't have far-out hand in producing or calligraphy the songs all but plain this ho-hum from the start."
